| Gavin was educated at Monkton Combe School in Bath and after graduating with an honours degree from St Andrew’s University he was admitted as a solicitor in 1986. After working for three years at a niche West End firm Gavin joined the Hertfordshire practice of David A Barley in 1991 (latterly Macleish Littlestone Cowan), heading a team handing all family and litigation work and coming to specialise himself in the matrimonial and family aspects after becoming a partner in 1994. Gavin joined Sedgwick Kelly LLP in June 2009 to head up the Family Law Department and he is a longstanding member of Resolution having particular expertise in the field of Financial Provision and Children Law. |
